What input formats are supported?▾
Decimal degrees (37.7749) and DMS (37°46'29.6"N). Type either in the lat or lng box and the converter detects format.
How accurate is the UTM conversion?▾
Sub-meter for points within standard UTM zone validity. Polar regions outside ±80° latitude should use UPS instead.
Why does my coordinate map to the wrong place?▾
Most often: lat/lng swapped, or the value is in a projected system (UTM, State Plane) being typed into a decimal-degree field.
